Point of View has announced a new addition to its Mobii line of tablets, the 13.3-inch Mobii 1325. Featuring a large 13.3-inch touchscreen and dual-core Cortex A9-based insides, the new Mobii 1325 is aimed at home use and those that value screen size over portability.

In recent memory, rumors have surfaced that suggest the next Xbox, whether it be called the Xbox 720, Durango, or something else entirely, will be a console that is always connected to the internet. This unfortunate notion is commonly referred to as always-on DRM, usually requiring consumers to be online in order to access their software. A new leak is corroborating the always-on rumor, as well as suggesting that the Xbox 720 will require all games to be installed to the hard drive.

Early listings point to €649 price tag for Galaxy S4

A number of European retailers have started taking pre-orders for Samsung’s new Galaxy S4. Prices in continental Europe start at €649 for the 16GB version, while the 32GB version should go for €749.
Sounds rather pricey, but we are talking about the hottest Android phone out there. However, it is worth noting that all S4 SKU listed so far are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600, which also means they feature LTE. There are no Exynos 5 SKUs listed anywhere, at least not yet.

Mobii 945 and Mobii 1045 quad-core tablets
Point of View has today expanded its tablet range with two new models based on quad-core Cortex A7 CPUs, the 9.7-inch Mobii 945 and the 10-inch Mobii 1045.
Both tablets ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and feature the same quad-core Cortex A7-based CPU clocked at 1.0GHz, paired up with PowerVR SGX544 MP2 GPU and 2GB of DDR3 memory. Tim Cook doesn’t think much of OLEDs, and he doesn’t think you should, either. At a Goldman Sachs investor conference today, the Apple CEO dismissed the idea that the display technology is something Apple should adopt, noting “If you ever buy anything online and really want to know what he color is, as many people do, you should really think twice before you depend on the color from a OLED display.”

Closing part of changes to Games organization
Employees of the Warren Spector-led Junction Point Studios were informed by Disney that due to changes in the company’s Games organization, the studio would be closed. This studio, based in Austin, Texas, was most recently responsible for the releases of Disney Epic Mickey and Disney Epic Mickey 2. Stando a quanto riportato sulla pagina Twitter di Roberts Space Industry, il team autore di Star Citizen, Junction Point avrebbe chiuso i battenti. La questione non è stata chiarita nel dettaglio, tuttavia in un tweet viene in pratica “reso onore” allo studio fondato nel 2005 da Warren Spector, che ha realizzato i due episodi di Epic Mickey, augurando peraltro ai suoi membri di trovare presto un nuovo impiego.
