πŸ“Œ Project Overview

As part of my HNG Internship QA tasks, I reviewed the Delve.fun web application to identify and report 10–15 bugs or usability issues.
My goal was to analyze the product like a real-world Quality Assurance Engineer β€” focusing on functionality, UI/UX, and overall performance.

🧠 Testing Approach

Before diving into the tests, I explored the application to understand its core purpose and flow.
I performed manual testing using both a desktop browser and mobile simulation tools, focusing on:
β€’ UI Consistency β€” fonts, alignment, responsiveness, color contrasts
β€’ Functionality β€” clickable buttons, broken links, missing validations
β€’ Performance β€” page responsiveness, lag, and animation smoothness
β€’ Edge Cases β€” invalid inputs, empty fields, and error message handling

I documented each bug using the standard QA format:
Title | Description | Steps to Reproduce | Expected Result | Actual Result | Severity | Priority | Category

🧰 Tools Used
β€’ Browser Developer Tools (Chrome DevTools, Safari Inspector)
β€’ Google Sheets β€” for structured bug documentation
β€’ Google Docs β€” for reporting and summarizing findings

πŸ’‘ What I Learned

This task taught me the importance of detailed observation and reproducibility in QA testing.
I learned how even small inconsistencies can affect user trust and product performance.
Documenting bugs systematically also improved my communication and reporting clarity β€” key skills for a QA Engineer.
