Being pregnant has changed Steph’s life for the better – aww!
To say that it’s been a rollercoaster few months for Stephanie Davis would be one heck of an understatement. From the dizzying heights of love and romance with Jeremy McConnell, to the lows of being pregnant, lonely and scared – with some doubting that she was even having a baby in the first place – it’s fair to say she’s been through a lot.
And now, after months of anticipation, she’s finally given a tell-all interview about her experience – and finally showed the world her growing belly!

Though she claims that she and her Celebrity Big Brother lover had been trying to conceive a child, they’d broken up a week before she discovered she was pregnant.
Even so, ‘Jez’ was the first to know her big news: ‘He was the first person I called,’ Stephanie reveals. ‘He started crying and told me he loved me and would be there for me and the baby, but almost instantly he switched and told me he didn’t believe I was actually pregnant.’

Perhaps most heartbreakingly, she revealed that at one point, the trauma of the situation had caused Steph to feel as if she no longer wanted to live.
‘I wouldn’t be alive now if it wasn’t for this baby,’ she emotionally told OK! ‘Not only was I heartbroken about our split but I was pregnant and all by myself. Then he was throwing all sorts of accusations at me, both privately and on social media, and I couldn’t handle it.’
Feeling incredibly low, the 23-year-old former Hollyoaks star expressed her sadness to her parents, Pauline and Roy Davis.
Since Jeremy, Steph has been linked with other men such as Love Island’s Joshua Ritchie, with whom she featured in leaked saucy video.
However, she’s now decided to stay single (‘It will take me a long time to move on’) and is focused on new projects such as clothing and a skincare line to support her child, due in January 2017. And in the pictures accompanying the interview, she holds her bump lovingly and looks happier than ever before.
‘I feel like a strong independent woman, I’m going to be the best mum ever,’ Stephanie declares – and with this renewed sense of clarity, we think she stands a great chance!
