Celebrity Big Brother star Katie Waissel’s 87-year-old grandma is STILL working as a prostitute!

It’s no secret that Katie Waissel is quite a memorable character. Outspoken and eccentric, her name has hardly been forgotten in the years since her stint on The X Factor – which hopefully means she’ll provide hours of entertainment on Celebrity Big Brother.

However, it seems as if this ability to shock and awe is something that runs in the family, as it’s been discovered that her grandma has been working as a prostitute – even now, at the age of 87!

Sheila Vogel-Coupe has been widely claimed to be the oldest escort in Britain, and is not shy about claiming that title in the slightest. In fact, she was part of a Channel 4 documentary about her work, aptly named My Granny The Escort.

Though her line of work has been publicly known since Katie’s appearance on The X Factor in 2010, The Sun discovered that she’s still a very active sex worker, six years later. What retirement age, eh?!

Listed on a specialist website, Sheila – who is now estranged from the Waissel family – has some positive reviews indeed, with a recent rating describing her as a ‘lovely lady who clearly knows exactly what to do and which of my buttons to press.’

An additional review reads: ‘I was greeted by [Sheila] wearing lingerie and red lipstick.

In an interview on This Morning in 2014, she revealed that she earns a very impressive £250-an-hour for her work, and has entertained up to 10 clients a week. And if you’d assume that her, erm, ‘entertainees’ were similarly of a more mature disposition, you’d be mistaken – as some of her clients are as young as 20.
