Intel plans to make things more equal

Next week Intel will once again bring its Intel Developer Forum (IDF) to the world, with screaming, sorry streaming coverage.

But the chip giant doesn’t want us to forget that it is fair and even handed in every way – well we know that because Intel tried to sue me once.

In advance of IDF, Intel has released something called the 2016 Diversity in Technology mid-year report.

By 2020 – if it’s still in business – Intel wants to “achieve full representation of women and under represented minorities in its US workforce by 2020”.

Well that’s well cool, init?

We wonder that when it decimated its workforce by 11 percent – that’s a joke – it decimated women and under represented minorities too. I mean, that would be only fair, wouldn’t it?

Intel has spent a trifling $ 300 million on its diversity and inclusion policy in the United States and it’s bullying its suppliers, “combatting” online harassment and more to achieve its goals.

Funny, for some odd reason Intel used to discriminate against Scots men – well, especially against me but it was inclusive because it had a go at notable MD Thomas Pabst too.
