Katy Perry just spoke about her feud with Taylor Swift and it’s all kicking off

Like the Montagues and the Capulets, the feud between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift goes way back – so far that we’ve kinda forgotten what it’s all about.

But Katy Perry has just brought the ongoing catfight slap-back into the now by addressing the feud on her Twitter feed.

K-Pez was taking part in a question and answer session with her Kitty Kats on the social media site when one fan asked: ‘Will you collab with Taylor Swift?’

Much to the surprise of everyone, Katy not only chose to reply to the tweet, she answered in the affirmative too! Although she has one condition…

‘If she says sorry, sure!’ the Rise singer wrote.

So, should we start getting excited about a Katy & Taylor collaboration coming our way!? Well, we imagine Taylor’s pretty busy penning her next break-up song following her split from Tom Hiddleston – but as soon as that’s out of the way, we hope she gives Katy a call!

The former friends are thought to have fallen out in 2012 when three of Katy’s former dancers left Taylor’s Red World Tour to re-join the Dark Horse singer.

Then in 2014, Taylor revealed that her song Bad Blood is about a specific woman in the music industry – thought to be Katy – in an interview with Rolling Stone, calling them ‘straight-up enemies’.

She told the magazine: ‘For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, “Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?”‘

She added: ‘She did something so horrible. I was like, “Oh, we’re just straight-up enemies”. And it wasn’t even about a guy! It had to do with business.

‘She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I’m surprisingly non-confrontational – you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It’s awkward, and I don’t like it.’

The day after the interview was released, Katy posted a cryptic tweet referencing Mean Girls…

But, judging from her latest tweet, Katy clearly thinks Taylor was in the wrong.

So if Tay-Tay can just find it in her heart to ‘do a Bieber’ and say sorry like Katy wants, we could be in for the collaboration of the century…
