Cheryl’s ex husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini reveals thoughts on her ‘pregnancy’

For the past few months, it’s been virtually impossible to read a story about Cheryl and Liam Payne without hearing THOSE pregnancy rumours.

Many have concluded that the cute couple are expecting a baby after a number of pictures showing Cheryl with a fuller looking face and a significant belly bump. Though she hasn’t confirmed anything publicly, you can assume that those close to her are among the few who know the truth.

However, it’s very clear that her ex-husband, Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini – as he’s revealed that he found out about Cheryl’s baby news the way everyone else did – in the press!

French restaurateur Jean-Bernard has broken his silence on the former Girls Aloud star’s alleged pregnancy – despite the fact that they’ve only been divorced since October.

‘Funnily enough that [the news] was how I heard,’ he told ES Magazine on Wednesday (14th December).

Though he may not have received any word straight from Cheryl, it seems he’s feeling positive for the exciting future to come for his ex – and claims that babies help to make the world a better place:

‘It’s a great thing to have babies. There are so many sad things these days, if everyone was creating life, the world would be a better place.’

That’s the spirit!

Since he didn’t quite get to start a family in the space of his two-year marriage to Cheryl, J-B may have more luck in his next relationship – however, he also told the magazine that he’s not particularly on the lookout right now. Instead, he’s waiting for the right woman to come to him by way of destiny:

‘You cannot approach it differently when you fall in love. If you can give me tips for me to structure my heart in order not to fall in love the same way, please explain to me but I don’t think it’s possible.’
