The mum-of-three has shared a supportive message to her pal
After announcing that she was filing for a divorce from husband of 10-years Stephen Belafonte last month, Mel B has understandably stayed very quiet on social media.
But now the former Spice Girl has broken her Twitter silence for the first time to show some serious #girlpower to singing superstar and pal, Adele.
Retweeting a message from Billboard, Mel B – real name Melanie Brown – shared with her 1.06million followers: ‘Adele’s 21 has broken the record for longest-charting album by a woman on the #Billboard200.’

The supportive tweet comes after the 41-year old singer was granted temporary restraining order from her ex, Stephen as well as primary custody of their five-year-old daughter Madison.

A judge order was signed last week meaning that Stephen isn’t allowed to contact Mel following a number of horrifying claims that he was physically and emotionally abusive throughout their marriage.
In official court documents obtained by MailOnline, Mel claims that the father of her child threatened to release sex tapes so that she ‘would never work again in the entertainment industry’ and alleges their nanny Lorraine Gilles, 26, had an abortion after he got her pregnant.

The star also alleges that she tried to take her own life in an attempt to end their decade long relationship.
Stephen has denied the shocking claims made by his estranged wife and a statement has been released to TMZ by his lawyers which states: ‘When the degree to which Ms Brown has gone to create a false depiction of her marriage to Mr Belafonte is uncovered, real victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse will be understandably offended, angry and upset.
The statement ends: ‘That’s it. I’m shocked at those allegations. We’ll have our day in court.’
