The Ultrasharp UP2718Q
Dell has launched its first 4K/UHD high-end Ultrasharp HDR10 monitor which comes with UHD Alliance Premium Certification, the 27-inch Ultrasharp UP2718Q.
According to specifications provided by Dell, the Ultrasharp UP2718Q has a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits and covers 100 percent of the AdobeRGB, 100 percent sRGB, 100 percent REC 709, 97.7 percent of DCI-P3 and 76.9 percent REC2020 color gamut, which basically means it’s got you covered when it comes to color accuracy. Unfortunately, the rest of the specifications are still unknown but due to its high brightness, the 4K/UHD 3840×2160 panel most likely uses the full-array backlight.
In order to achieve this color reproduction with Dell PremierColor certification, each Ultrasharp UP2718Q is individually factory-calibrated and allows users to also customize the color parameters using the custom color mode.
When it comes to inputs, the Dell Ultrasharp UP2718Q comes with DisplayPort 1.4, mini-DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.0a ports as well as two USB 3.0 inputs which power a four-port USB 3.0 hub.
The Dell 27-inch Ultrasharp UP2718Q is obviously aimed at professionals and, as always, such exceptional specifications come at a rather steep price so on May 23rd it will cost US $ 1,999.99.
