Nathan Massey sends fans into a spin with topless snap – and hints at Love Island return

We fell in love with Nathan Massey during last year’s Love Island, which he went on to win with Cara De La Hoyde.

Unfortunately Nathan, 25, and 26-year-old Cara confirmed their split last month, and she later explained that she thinks they moved in together too soon after leaving the island.

But it’s onwards and upwards for Nathan, who this week treated his followers to a steamy throwback picture showing him topless, in the gym and rocking a serious six-pack.

He wrote alongside it: ‘A week before Love Island! When I get back from holiday, we go again!!!! #newstart #newme.’

Unsurprisingly Nath’s snap went down very well with his followers, and one wrote: ‘Wow! You look amazing!’

Another added: ‘Looking f**king awesome,’ while one simply commented: ‘Gorgeous!’

But a few eagle eyed fans seemed to think Nathan was hinting he might return to the island for the third series later this year.

‘Omg is he going back this year?’ An excited fan questioned, while another said: ‘He’s going on it again!’

Nathan and Cara often make cameo appearances on The Only Way Is Essex and, shortly after their break-up, he went on the show to have a chat with best mate Tommy Mallet about it all.

He said: ‘It’s completely over now, sadly. We were just under each other’s feet too much. The littlest thing would spark a massive argument.

‘I just thought to myself, “Where is this going?” I’m not saying it’s her, I’m not saying it’s me. It just brought me down a lot. My friends have seen it, and I think she’s the same. It’s sad, but I don’t resent her. I hope she doesn’t resent me for anything.’
