Release Date: 21st August 2018 Following his much-loved remixes of Maribou State and ODESZA released on Anjunadeep in 2015, label favourite Daniel Goldstein aka Lane 8 returns with two stellar reworks of George FitzGerald’s 2017 anthem ‘Burns’. Lane 8’s ‘Morning Mix’ is an ode to the lush atmosphere of the original, a highlight from George’s sophomore album ‘All That Must Be’ released earlier this year on Domino. With the original’s mesmerising vocal chops front and centre, Goldstein blends tranquil piano arpeggios and stuttering synth stabs to create a pensive soundscape imbued with melancholy. The ‘Club Mix’ is a showcase of Lane 8’s trademark sound. Detuned chords, void-like atmospheres, and a thumping four-to-the-floor kick drum combine to create a fierce peak-time soundtrack.
