The newest update of Serato DJ Pro features a big win for those of you with a newer Rane battle mixer. If you’ve got a Rane Seventy, Seventy-Two, or Seventy-Two MKII, you’ll now be able to access Serato’s Scratch Bank feature (as first introduced on the Pioneer DJ DJM-S11).

Getting there is simple, too. Quickly access Scratch Bank on your Seventy-Two or Seventy-Two MKII by hitting the Sampler pad mode button three times. If you’re using a Seventy, hit it twice.

In order to use the new feature, you’ll need to update to the latest version of Serato DJ. On the RANE mixer side, you’ll need to update to FW 1.6on the Seventy-Two or Seventy-Two MKII. The Seventy doesn’t need a FW update to use this feature.
