"Still pinching myself about this one – a b2b with one of the biggest legends in dance music! The mix was an exciting opportunity to play a little deeper and darker than usual which was super refreshing.

Sasha and I chatted on the phone a week prior to the show. There wasn’t a clear game plan about what we would play but as a big fan of his sound and mixes, I had a pretty solid idea of what tunes to bring with me and I just did my best to flow with the vibe in the moment. Our call was mostly a chat about a collaboration we have in the works 👀 Sasha had sent over the parts a few days before our call and I was determined to have a first draft that we could debut at the show – which ended up happening! Obviously, these drafts typically evolve and develop so try not to get too attached just yet but we had to play what we had! I also nearly missed this show completely – my flight from North Carolina was cancelled due to the storms in Miami but fortunately I managed to get the last seat on a flight to Fort Lauderdale – I made it to the show 30 mins before the set!
