It’s tiny, it’s powerful, and it’s on sale! I’m talking about this Bosgame P4 Plus mini PC that’s only $320 on Amazon, marked down by 20% from its usual $400 price tag. That’s a great price for the specs you get.

Inside the Bosgame P4 Plus, you’ll find an AMD Ryzen 7 5825U processor, 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB Gen 4 NVMe SSD. That’s a fast and spacious combo that’s ready to tackle any task you throw its way, making it perfect for work, leisure, and hobbies.

Mini PCs like this are perfect for home offices, but this one stands out for two reasons: first, it supports triple 4K@60Hz monitors via HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C video; second, it’s VESA-compatible so you can mount it directly onto any VESA-compatible monitor. You can run a multi-screen setup and have the mini PC tucked away out of sight.

Other port options include two fast USB-A, two slower USB-A, two 2.5Gbps Ethernet, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also has built-in wireless networking support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2.

  • Designing Smart Multi-Agent Workflows with Agno & LangDB

Designing Smart Multi-Agent Workflows with Agno & LangDB

    July 24, 2025
    Software

Build a multi-agent financial analysis team with LangDB and Agno that can reason, research, and report on complex financial data.

In the world of finance, staying ahead requires more than just data; it requires deep analysis, contextual awareness, and collaborative reasoning. What if you could build a team of AI agents to do this for you? In this post, we’ll show you how to build a sophisticated, multi-agent financial analysis team using LangDB and Agno.

This guide walks you through building a multi-agent workflow using Agno for orchestration and LangDB as the AI Gateway. We’ll use a financial analysis team as a practical example to show how you can build sophisticated agent systems that are easy to manage and debug, thanks to LangDB’s end-to-end tracing, dynamic tooling, and access to over 350 LLMs.

    Full Conversation with Agn

This team of agents collaborates to deliver in-depth insights on publicly traded companies by combining web research for market sentiment with hard financial data analysis. You can see a full trace of the final agent’s execution.

    The Code

You can find the complete source code for this project on GitHub:

    • LangDB Samples: https://github.com/langdb/langdb-samples/tree/main/examples/agno/reasoning-finance-team

The Architecture: A Trio of Financial Experts

Our system is composed of two specialist agents orchestrated by a coordinating team:

    1. Web Search Agent: Gathers the latest news and market sentiment from the internet.

    2. Finance Agent: Equipped with YFinanceTools to fetch and analyze quantitative stock data, including pricing, fundamentals, and analyst recommendations.

    3. Reasoning Finance Team: A coordinator that directs the two agents, synthesizes their findings, and produces a final, comprehensive report.

LangDB provides the backbone for this system. As an AI Gateway, it enables seamless access to over 350 LLMs, simplifies tool integration, and provides full end-to-end tracing and observability into each agent’s actions and the team’s collaborative process.

    Checkout: https://docs.agno.com/models/langdb and https://docs.agno.com/observability/langdb

    Enhanced Tracing with pylangdb.agno.init()

While you can use LangDB as a provider in Agno directly, calling pylangdb.agno.init() unlocks deeper, end-to-end tracing. This function provides additional metadata and observability by automatically instrumenting the entire Agno framework, giving you complete visibility into your agent’s workflows.

    # main.py from pylangdb.agno import init # Initialize LangDB for enhanced tracing *before* importing any Agno modules. init() from agno.agent import Agent from agno.team import Team # ... other imports

As an official provider integrated with Agno, LangDB requires you to set up your credentials. You’ll need to export your LangDB API key and Project ID as environment variables. You can find these in your LangDB project settings.

    export LANGDB_API_KEY="<your_langdb_api_key>" export LANGDB_PROJECT_ID="<your_langdb_project_id>"

    Code Walkthrough: Building the Team

Let’s look at how the agents and the team are defined.

The Web Search Agent: Decoupled and Dynamic

Instead of hard-coding a search tool, we assign the web_agent a LangDB Virtual Model. This decouples the agent’s logic from the specific tools it uses.

    web_agent = Agent( name="Web Search Agent", role="Search the web for the information", model=LangDB(id="langdb/search_agent_xmf4v5jk"), instructions="Always include sources" )

This virtual model is configured in the LangDB UI to provide search capabilities, which we’ll cover in the next section.

The Finance Agent: The Quantitative Analyst

This agent is equipped with YFinanceTools to access a wide range of financial data. It’s powered by a powerful model like Grok-4 and has specific instructions to format its output professionally.

finance_agent = Agent( name="Finance AI Agent", role="Analyse the given stock", model=LangDB(id="xai/grok-4"), tools=[YFinanceTools( stock_price=True, stock_fundamentals=True, analyst_recommendations=True, company_info=True, company_news=True )], instructions=[ "Use tables to display stock prices, fundamentals (P/E, Market Cap), and recommendations.", "Clearly state the company name and ticker symbol.", "Focus on delivering actionable financial insights." ] )

    The Coordinating Team: The Orchestrator

The ReasoningFinanceTeam orchestrates the two specialist agents. It operates in coordinate mode, allowing it to delegate tasks, synthesize information, and ensure the final output is a comprehensive report.

reasoning_finance_team = Team( name="Reasoning Finance Team", mode="coordinate", model=LangDB(id="xai/grok-4"), members=[web_agent, finance_agent], tools=[ReasoningTools(add_instructions=True)], instructions=[ "Collaborate to provide comprehensive financial and investment insights", "Consider both fundamental analysis and market sentiment", "Present findings in a structured, easy-to-follow format", ], success_criteria="The team has provided a complete financial analysis with data, visualizations, risk assessment, and actionable investment recommendations." )

Dynamic Tooling with Virtual Models and Virtual MCPs

To empower the web_agent with live web search capabilities without hard-coding tools, we configure a Virtual Model in LangDB. This model is backed by a Virtual MCP Server that provides the actual search functionality.

    1. Create a Virtual MCP Server: In the LangDB UI, create a new Virtual MCP Server named web-search-mcp that uses the Tavily Search MCP.

    2. Create and Configure the Virtual Model: Create a new virtual model (e.g., search-agent) and attach the web-search-mcp to it.

    3. Use the Virtual Model ID: Copy the ID of your new virtual model and use it in the web_agent definition.

This setup allows you to change the tools and models your agents use on the fly from the LangDB UI, without changing a single line of code.

Running the Team and Observing the Results

To run the team, simply call the print_response method with a detailed prompt:

reasoning_finance_team.print_response( """Compare the tech sector giants (AAPL, GOOGL, MSFT) performance:n 1. Get financial data for all three companiesn 2. Analyze recent news affecting the tech sectorn 3. Calculate comparative metrics and correlationsn 4. Recommend portfolio allocation weights""" )

Every execution is captured in LangDB, providing a complete trace of the team’s operations. This includes the initial prompt, each agent’s contributions, the tools they used, and the final synthesized output. You can explore the full, shareable trace.

Here is a snippet of the final report generated by the agent team:

┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ ┃ Comprehensive Comparative Analysis of Tech Giants: AAPL, GOOGL, and MSFT ┃ ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ As the Reasoning Finance Team, we've conducted a thorough analysis of Apple Inc. (AAPL), Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL), and Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) based on the user's request. This includes financial data retrieval, recent news analysis, comparative metrics and correlations, and portfolio allocation recommendations. Our evaluation incorporates fundamental analysis (e.g., valuations, growth), market sentiment (e.g., news and analyst views), quantitative metrics (e.g., betas, correlations), and risk assessments. Data is current as of July 2025. ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── 1. Financial Data Overview Key financial data for each company, sourced from reliable APIs. Stock Prices Metric AAPL GOOGL MSFT ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Current Price $210.16 $182.97 $505.62 52-Week High $260.10 $207.05 $508.30 52-Week Low $169.21 $140.53 $344.79 50-Day Moving Avg $203.87 $170.88 $472.41 200-Day Moving Avg $222.55 $173.43 $427.18

And here’s a view of the full trace in the LangDB UI, showing how the agents collaborated to produce the report.

LangDB trace view for the financial agent

    Full Observability with LangDB Tracing

The “full observability” promised in our subtitle is delivered through LangDB’s detailed tracing capabilities. When you run your Agno team, every action is captured, providing a transparent, hierarchical view of the entire workflow. Here’s what you can see in the trace:

    • Hierarchical Span View: The trace isn’t a flat list of events but a tree of “spans.” The top-level span represents the entire team’s execution, with child spans for each agent’s turn, tool call, and model invocation. This shows the exact flow of control and delegation.

    • Input/Output for Each Step: For every span, you can inspect the exact inputs and outputs. This means you can see the precise query sent to the Web Search Agent, the articles it returned, the data requested by the Finance Agent, and the final synthesized response from the team. This level of detail is crucial for debugging.

    • Latency and Performance: Each span is timestamped and includes latency information, allowing you to instantly identify bottlenecks. You can see exactly how long each tool call, model response, or agent deliberation took.

    • Cost and Token Usage: For every LLM call, the trace displays the number of input and output tokens and the associated cost, giving you full transparency into your operational expenses.

    • Automatic Metadata: Thanks to pylangdb.agno.init(), traces are automatically enriched with metadata, including agent names, the team name (Reasoning Finance Team), and the models used, making it easy to filter and search for specific traces in the LangDB UI.

This granular, end-to-end visibility is what makes building, debugging, and managing complex agentic workflows with LangDB and Agno so powerful.

You can check out the full conversation with tracing here: https://app.langdb.ai/sharing/threads/630b2ded-15ae-43d9-8a7a-d6dd9d649655

    Conclusion

By combining Agno with the LangDB AI Gateway, we’ve built a financial analysis team that is:

    • Modular: Each agent has a specific, firewalled responsibility.

    • Dynamic: We can change models and grant new tools on the fly from the LangDB UI without redeploying our agent.

    • Observable: We get detailed traces of every interaction, making debugging and performance analysis straightforward.

This architecture allows for rapid development and iteration, enabling you to build truly powerful and intelligent agentic systems for any domain.

  • Google's tool for virtually trying on clothes is now available in the US

    July 24, 2025
    Hardware

At I/O 2025 in May, Google previewed a new AI-powered feature the company said would simplify online shopping. The tool allows you to upload a single, full-body photo of yourself to “try on” different pieces of clothing you find online. Following a limited preview, Google has begun rolling out the feature to users in the US. You can start trying on clothing for yourself by tapping the “try on” icon on any product listing on Google or apparel product result you find on Google Images.

Powering the experience is an image generation model Google trained to take into account how different materials fold, stretch and drape across different human bodies. According to Google, the model supports billions of clothing items found across the company’s Shopping Graph, meaning their may be some outfits the AI will have a hard time parsing. However, most clothing items from popular retailers should be supported out of the gate.

With today’s release, Google has also enhanced the price-tracking functionality built into the feature. Naturally, you can specify the color and size you want, but Google also allows you to set the price you want to pay for the item. It’s possible to configure the watch so you’re only alerted after the product you want dips below a specific price. “The Shopping Graph has products and prices from all across the web — so we’ll let you know when there’s an offer that meets your criteria,” says Google. “No more constantly checking to see if that bag you’re eyeing is finally at the right price for you or forgetting to come back to a product you loved.”

Later this year, Google plans to bring additional shopping features to AI Mode, the dedicated AI tab the company began rolling out to everyone in the US this past May. Come this fall, you’ll be able to explore outfit and decor ideas — and buy what suits your fancy — directly from the chat bot.

  • White House unveils sweeping plan to “win” global AI race through deregulation

White House unveils sweeping plan to “win” global AI race through deregulation

    July 24, 2025
    Hardware

On Wednesday, the White House released “Winning the Race: America’s AI Action Plan,” a 25-page document that outlines the Trump administration’s strategy to “maintain unquestioned and unchallenged global technological dominance” in AI through deregulation, infrastructure investment, and international partnerships. But critics are already taking aim at the plan, saying it’s doing Big Tech a big favor.

Assistant to the President for Science and Technology Michael J. Kratsios and Special Advisor for AI and Crypto David O. Sacks crafted the plan, which frames AI development as a race the US must win against global competitors, particularly China.

The document describes AI as the catalyst for “an industrial revolution, an information revolution, and a renaissance—all at once.” It calls for removing regulatory barriers that the administration says hamper private sector innovation. The plan explicitly reverses several Biden-era policies, including Executive Order 14110 on AI model safety measures, which President Trump rescinded on his first day in office during his second term.

  • Top VTuber ditches her talent agency over ‘owed’ $500k charity donation

Top VTuber ditches her talent agency over ‘owed’ $500k charity donation

    July 24, 2025
    Hardware

On July 21st, 6,669-year-old demon queen Ironmouse,  posted an 11-minute video explaining that she is leaving her talent management agency, VShojo. Ironmouse is a VTuber, or “virtual YouTuber” — a type of a streamer who doesn’t typically show their human face, instead creating elaborate digital personas to create content.

“I recently found out that for the past couple of months, I have been misled by VShojo,” she said, breathily, in her video. “I believe that I am owed a significant amount of funds which I have not been paid.”

With her pink hair, purple eyes, and horns, Ironmouse is one of Twitch’s biggest streamers. She currently has over 2.3 million followers on Twitch, and 1.3 million subscribers on YouTube. In 2023, she won a Game Award for content creator of the year. A year later, she would briefly overtake Kai Cenat as the most subscribed to Twitch streamer with over 300,000 subs. Her VTuber colleagues at VShojo have follower counts in the hundreds of thousands across Twitch and YouTube. Now, in the aftermath of Ironmouse’s video, most of them have also quit the company, with some of them alleging unpaid wages.

According to Ironmouse, her trouble with VShojo started with the conclusion of her 2024 subscription marathon on Twitch. During the event, Ironmouse raised over $500,000 for the Immune Deficiency Foundation, a cause she explained was important to her as she — the real person behind the Ironmouse persona — suffers from common variable immunodeficiency or CVID.

The Verge has reached out to VShojo, Ironmouse, and the Immune Deficiency Foundation for comment.

Shouting it from the rooftops!!!! Oh my Mousey, she did it. Congrats to @ironmouse for hitting the all-time sub count record and sharing the love and awareness to the @IDFCommunity. She really is THE Demon Queen!!!!! 💜 pic.twitter.com/9cXYiNKVQm

    — Twitch (@Twitch) September 30, 2024

“Because the money came from my Twitch revenue,” Ironmouse said in her video, “It required VShojo to make the donation on my behalf.” She claims this has not been done and that’s why she’s decided to leave VShojo:

“And most importantly, the thing that hurts me the most is that the Immune Deficiency Foundation, which is the most important charity to me and also the reason why I’m here today, is owed over half a million dollars from Vshojo. […] I really want to tell you everything, but unfortunately right now I have been instructed by my attorney to wait for more of the legal procedure to unfold. So one day I will be able to tell you the full story. But for now, I just need to let you know that I will no longer be a part of VShojo.“

“As of right now, I am an independent VTuber,” she said.

While a creator leaving a talent agency is nothing new, especially in the world of VTubers, the scope and scale of this departure has had a serious impact on both VShojo and the wider VTuber community. In the hours after Ironmouse released her video, 12 of the 13 VTubers listed on VShojo’s website have officially announced they are leaving the company.

On July 22nd, Kson, a yakuza-themed VTuber with 1.3 million followers on YouTube, did a livestream in which she announced she too would be leaving the company, also alleging unpaid funds.

“And the reason why is because VShojo hasn’t paid a significant amount of money to me,” she said.

Most of the other members of VShojo, who said they were leaving on their livestreams and social media, would not give explicit reasons why, suggesting they aren’t able to due to legal reasons. Nearly all of them expressed heartbreak related to their departure and shock at Ironmouse’s treatment.

“Yes, I’m leaving VShojo,” wrote Projekt Melody on X. “[I] put my everything into this comp[any]. But I’m beyond devastated at what happened and I never in a million years thought I’d be saying these words.”

When VShojo was founded in 2020, it positioned itself as ”talent first” as a way to differentiate itself from other companies that had reputations for treating talent poorly. This attracted popular VTuber talent and huge numbers of fans.

VTubers operate similarly to Twitch streamers but can have extra expectations and constraints set upon them if they are corporately sponsored by talent agencies. To understand VTubers, it’s best to think of them as digital Japanese pop idols. Almost every aspect of a corporate VTuber — their sponsorships, social media accounts, finances, name, and more — is owned and controlled by their agency. In most circumstances, if a VTuber decides to go independent, they have to leave every aspect of their persona behind including all the channels attached to that persona and start over from scratch. VShojo stood out as a company because its clients were not beholden to those terms.

“I’m actually shocked,” said Biggles, an artist and independent Vtuber who told The Verge she’s been a fan of VShojo talent since the company’s beginning. “VShojo was a dream for many.”

Ironmouse’s dream for the Immune Deficiency Foundation lives on however. After posting her announcement video as her usual persona, she initiated a donation drive to replace the allegedly unpaid funds. Through her community, her former Vshojo colleagues, and their communities, they’ve raised almost $1 million.

First AMD Strix Halo handheld gaming PC confirmed — GPD teases Ryzen AI Max+ 395 handheld in performance video

    July 24, 2025
    Hardware

Portable and handheld PC stalwart GPD today teased the first AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395-powered handheld. Moreover, in a short video clip shared on X, we get to see the device in action, with someone playing Black Myth: Wukong. We don’t get a summary chart accompanying the video, but this handheld appears to run this popular game at between 170 and 212 fps for the duration of the gameplay clip.

Breaking news! The GPD WIN 5 is expected to make its debut at Chinajoy 2025 pic.twitter.com/G6cwqajspJJuly 24, 2025

AMD’s ‘Strix Halo’ Ryzen AI Max+ chips debuted at CES 2025, at the start of the year, with the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 being the halo product of the family. Its blend of RDNA 3.5 graphics and Zen 5 CPU cores – plus radical new memory tech, offering up to 256 GB/s bandwidth. It’s a natural for a premium handheld, but we’ve only seen rumors and suggestions of such handhelds in the making until now.

GPD’s “breaking news” post doesn’t reveal a lot about the GPD WIN 5 it is teasing. However, we can see a few interesting things straight away. The pocketable PCs specialist has chosen to show a few key stats overlaid on the gaming video: processor temperature, iGPU clock speed, CPU power consumption, and frames per second performance.

    GPD WIN 5 teaser

Watching these stats, we note that, during the brief 20s or so we get to see, the processor hovers around the 65 degrees C region, which looks good for a handheld. At the same time, the ‘CPU Power’ varies between 55W and 58W. The iGPU, the Radeon 8060S, also maintains a clock speed of around 2.5 GHz. As per our intro, Black Myth: Wukong runs from between around 170 and 212fps for the duration of the clip. Admittedly, there are a lot of stats and settings missing from our view, like the graphics quality settings used.

After grabbing the best quality video we could from the source and fiddling with levels in Photoshop, the joyvpad and buttons layout of the GPD WIN5 comes into view.

There are no big surprises in the buttons, pads, and sticks plucked from the darkness of the promo video. On the left, it looks like there is a thumb stick at the top, with a D-pad below, then three buttons and what looks like a speaker grille.

    GPD WIN 5 teaser

Levels adjustment reveals controls (Image credit: GPD on X)

To the right, below the typical quad action button diamond, is another thumb stick. Next to a couple of other buttons, lower down on the right, there also might be a tiny touchpad, just like the one on the Lenovo Legion GO S, for example.

The Ryzen AI Max+ 395 and its brethren have previously popped up in tablets and mini PCs. Sadly, machines powered by this family of processors often come with high, even prohibitive, price tags. It may well be quite an expensive package of 4nm silicon to produce at TSMC, and the laws of supply and demand will also play a part.

Whatever the price, the processing power on tap could make the GPD WIN 5 one of the best gaming handhelds. GPD’s WIN 5 will make its public debut at ChinaJoy 2025, which kicks off on August 1. Hopefully, we’ll get a lot more details and pricing at the show.

Watch Wednesday’s Video for New Song “Pick Up That Knife”

    July 24, 2025
    Music

Wednesday are back with another new song from Bleeds, their upcoming sixth studio album. “Pick Up That Knife” comes with a grainy, camcorder-shot music video of a couple making out in the woods and other friends gorging themselves on watermelon, as directed by Sara Melosh. Watch it below.

“‘Pick Up That Knife’ is a song that revolves around feelings of helplessness, when every minor inconvenience hurts double cause you’re close to giving up,” singer-guitarist Karly Hartzman said of the new song. “It’s also about when our pedal steel player Xandy threw up in the moshpit during the Death Grips set at Primavera Sound in 2023.”

“Pick Up That Knife” is the third single Wednesday have shared from Bleeds so far, following “Wound Up Here (By Holdin On)” and “Elderberry Wine.” The follow-up to 2023’s Rat Saw God arrives September 19 via Dead Oceans and was produced by Alex Farrar, who also worked with the twangy rock five-piece—Hartzman, guitarist MJ Lenderman, lap steel and pedal steel player Xandy Chelmis, bassist and pianist Ethan Baechtold, and drummer Alan Miller—on both Rat Saw God and Twin Plagues.

Shortly after releasing their upcoming album, Wednesday will embark on a North American tour with support from Daffo and Friendship. (Lenderman will not be performing with the band on that route, however, as he recently revealed that while he’s still a member of Wednesday in the recording studio, he’s not joining them on the road.) Get a peek at what to expect from their live renditions with their recent television debut performing “Elderberry Wine” on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
