Hundreds gather after alleged rape of girl for demonstration that also featured tense exchanges with anti-racism counter-protesters

Far-right protesters clashed with police on Saturday after hundreds of people gathered outside the town hall in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, for a planned protest.

The event was organised in response to two men, reportedly Afghan asylum seekers, who were charged over the alleged rape of a 12-year-old girl in the town.
