The Dyson V15 cordless vacuum cleaner is a game-changer, and it’s currently on sale during Amazon’s weekend-long Black Friday sales. CNET has tested hundreds of cordless vacuums at our state-of-the-art testing labs. The Dyson V15 Detect was named CNET’s best overall Dyson vacuum, best at finding dust and given an Editors’ Choice Award. Right now, the V15 Detect is on sale as one of Amazon’s lingering Black Friday deals for a whopping $250 (or 29%) off. That brings it down to just $600 from its usual $850 price.
My Dyson V15 works great for quick cleanups or deep cleans. Because it’s cordless, I appreciate not having to constantly plug in and then unplug it when cleaning the upstairs and downstairs in my home. It doesn’t take up storage space because the charging docking station is mounted in our garage. It’s no surprise to me that the Dyson V15 outperformed most of its competitors during CNET’s lab testing. The Plus version is nearly identical to the standard V15, except that it offers upgraded filtration and comes with a couple of additional tools (like the low-reach adapter and the combi-crevice tool).
Washable HEPA filter is a plus
I love the washable HEPA cloth filter, too. No more running out of replacement filters. Simply wash it and let it dry. I also bought a backup replacement filter to use so I don’t have to wait for the original filter to dry before using my beloved Dyson on another mess.
