‘Use your platform better!’ Kim Kardashian under fire for posting THIS bathing suit selfie

Kim Kardashian loves a good selfie – and in other unchanging facts, the sky is (sometimes) blue.

Yes, North and Saint’s mama has been a leader of the self-taken-photo movement for years, and she never wastes an opportunity to share one with the world.

However, this time may have been a selfie too much – as she’s been slammed by fans for posting a revealing selfie, while America expresses outrage over police brutality. Yikes.

Kim took to Instagram on Thursday to share a picture of herself, behind the scenes while filming a new project. Wearing a tight black swimsuit, the 35-year-old posed, front-on, in the mirror, making sure that her famous curves were fully on display:

And, of course, she looked amazing.

While plenty of her followers decided to chime in with the usual outpour of love and admiration, plenty of others were unimpressed with her timing for the post.

Earlier this week, the shootings of black US citizens Alton Sterling and Philando Castile left the country shaken. Marking another incidence of fatal police brutality against black people in America, some of her fans were upset that she isn’t using her platform to speak out on social issues and injustice.

‘B***h your husband and children are black and all you an do is post f**king selfies?’ reads the remark of one. ‘Use your platform better!’ scalded another, while another parodied her sister Kourtney Kardashian from a classic Keeping Up With The Kardashians episode by writing: ‘Not right now, Kimberly. Black people are dying.’

However, perhaps this was just what Mrs West needed to be spurred into action, as she has since  been using Twitter to express her support by retweeting useful links to donate to the mourning families, and the words of others such as John Legend.

Every little helps, so at least Kim is doing this  – the more celebrities who speak out on the issues that really matter, the better!
