After his move from his home Sunderland to Down Under, he reanimated not only Sydney's club culture with his "Bread&Butter" parties, with his label Contemporary Scarecrow alongside releases from Boo Williams and Mr. G, Garry creates a real stir. With his "Time To Get Onit EP", the Australian-by-choice now made his debut on BPitch Control.He gathered four tracks that show how small the boundaries between house and techno can be sometimes. "Onit" is a brilliant techno workout that clearly heads towards the big room with its driving bass line, the 808 nuances and the squeaky howling alarm signals. While the vocal cuts are hinted here, on „Feelin“ they step into the foreground. The rattling bass retires only briefly before the orbital streaks are taking the lead coming from the background – no wonder why Garry Todd is celebrated in his homeland as "the world 's last proper bad boy". His „LSD Experince“ relies on both: his verve for percussive stimuli as well as his retro-esque take on house music. Impressive how the atmospheric soundscapes are settle down in our sub consciousness. For his final deal „Dreamcatcher“ no enigma is needed, but with this sci-fi dream Garry takes us into a moony universe that reminds us of Berlin-based producer Shed – between beats and these intergalactic buzzing sounds a killer tracks is crystallized.
