The troubled former EastEnders actress is facing up to her demons
Danniella Westbrook has become infamous for dealing with some serious personal issues in the glare of the public eye.
After a tough 2016 in which she suffered health issues, lost a relationship and her home, she has been doing her best to get her life back on track. Now, she has taken her quest one step further by revealing that she’s making plans to check into a treatment facility to confront her issues.

Danniella, who is most famous for playing EastEnders character Samantha Mitchell, has been through a lot in her life, most notably sexual abuse and a drug addiction that has dominated a significant part of her adult life. In an attempt to finally kick her habit, Danniella has made arrangements to undergo therapy and other treatments at a facility in Spain.
‘So I’m checking in to treatment again. The therapy show I did cost me a lot of heart ache painful childhood memories & trauma that the show didn’t fix,’ her statement began, before she referenced her negative experience while appearing on another TV show.
‘Put that with a total lie and sham of a marriage the illness from botched bodies botching my health and a break up from the only man I ever loved and loosing a baby last year, I think it’s time I did this once and for all for myself my kids and my very small but close circle of friends.
Danniella, 43, then went onto admit that despite her fears, the prospect of a better life is more important.
‘Am I scared yes but I do want a quality of life I don’t have today and the freedom of a life without Demons haunting me and making me weak to my addictions: so in a few weeks time I shall be checking in to a friends treatment centre and I won’t be leaving until I’m a 100% well in my mind body and [heart emoji].
