Social media was flooded with all sorts of cute and touching messages for the mums out there on Mother’s Day – but none were quite like Ruth Langsford‘s.
The TV presenter shared a sweet family photo to celebrate the occasion but also accidentally posted some VERY explicit pictures in the post too. Awkward!

Ruth, 57, captioned a snap of her posing with her mum and sister: ‘My wonderful Mum & big Sis. Thinking of those who no longer have their Mum’s….. you’ll always have memories x’
But unfortunately the well-meaning post came with some distractions as Ruth had posted it from a screenshot of her camera roll, meaning a rude meme featuring a penis could be seen at the bottom of the screen.
The explicit photo shows a woman holding a man’s nether regions over her face to look like a children’s cartoon character.
Ruth’s eagle-eyed followers also spotted ANOTHER rude shot in the camera roll featuring a penis in a shoe.

One fan jokingly commented: ‘there’s a few rude pics in ur photo stream like the penis in the shoe….and this…ur my fav ever’
Meanwhile another quipped: ‘well, you’ve cocked this one up.’
Thankfully others didn’t seem to notice the embarrassing slip-up and focused on Ruth’s cute family photo instead.
‘lovely family enjoy,’ one follower wrote.
Ruth seemed to notice her error a couple of hours after posting her message as she went on to share the picture again but cropped in without the camera roll images below it.
She hasn’t yet deleted the previou post though – whoops.
We wonder what Ruth’s hubby Eamonn Holmes will make of this!
Before the explicit photo error, Ruth had paid tribute to hers and Eamonn’s 15-year-old son Jack and shared a picture of the card and mug he’d given her.
