Stephanie Davis’ baby daddy is going away to work on himself
Jeremy McConnell has been involved in more public spats with on-off partner Stephanie Davis than any of us will ever have with anyone in our entire lives.
However, never has it been more drastic than in the past month, in which he was arrested for assaulting her, while she took to Twitter to slam him for his actions.
Now, after Stephanie gave him an ultimatum to seek help for an alleged drug problem or risk losing access to son Caben-Albi, Jeremy has declared that he’ll be taking a break from the public eye in an attempt to work on himself.

Jeremy, 27, took to Twitter on Sunday afternoon (2nd April) to give fans an insight into who he is – and address his frequent appearances in the press for some rather negative reasons.
‘I want to leave this last message here for people to maybe get a better understanding of who I am as a person,’ he began his lengthy post.
‘I know a lot of people are sick of reading stories etc in the press about me and my life and have a huge dislike for me.
‘For the record nobody dislikes myself more than me, I never once have used my misfortunes in life for sympathy or excuses as a lot of people have had really tough lives, the fact that I’m in the public eye just exposes them a lot more than others.’
Earlier this year, Jeremy lost his father and auntie – while his mother, brother and sister passed away in short succession years before.
Later in his message, the Irish model acknowledges those he’s let down in his rise to fame since Celebrity Big Brother in January 2016, and speaks on his hopes for a better future.

‘The people who know me know I’m a good guy and have a massive heart, I just never handled fame, money or actions very well and got lost in a downward spiral.
‘It’s something I’m about to fix and never look back on.
‘But I’ve learnt from my mistakes, this will be my last message for a while. I’ve decided to take the appropriate action for myself and my new family and thank you for everyone’s support and to a new lease of life.’
Will this finally mark a change in their chaotic life? One thing’s for sure – an attempt to do better is better than not trying at all. Here’s hoping he earns the second chance he so desires.
