The former TOWIE star has had a whirlwind few weeks
In what seemed to be an instant, Ferne McCann‘s life has completely changed.
One day after completely declaring her love for her now ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins in a national magazine, news broke of Arthur’s involvement in an acid attack that has left at least two victims with permanent sight problems.
Since then, it’s been revealed that former TOWIE star Ferne is carrying his baby – and she gave a very emotional interview on This Morning about her new plans on life as a single mother.
And now, the brave star has thanked her fans for their support during this difficult time.

Ferne, 26, returned to This Morning, on which she’s previously served as their showbiz correspondent, on Thursday morning (11th May), to discuss the fallout following Arthur’s arrest and the announcement of her pregnancy.
Understandably, it was an tear-jerking segment, and hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield rushed to comfort her as she cried. Ferne also received droves of well-wishes from viewers, who took to social media to lend their support.
And on Friday, the bubbly TV star took to Instagram to express just how much the kindness of strangers has meant to her:
‘I wanted to thank you all for the support and kind messages over the last few weeks,’ she began her heartfelt message, accompanying a still shot from the interview.
‘I’m overwhelmed and so grateful. your kind words have meant the world – from the bottom of my heart – THANKYOU.’
Though the internet can be a scary place for someone going through such public drama, Ferne’s fans have assured her that they’ll have her back until the end – and have commended her for her strength.
‘Be proud hold your head up high x,’ reads one response, while another user advises her to take care of herself and the baby:
‘U did an amazing interview I cried along with you. Look after you and that beautiful gift in ur tummy x’.
Another reply reads: ‘you’re a beautiful and strong independent women and you can get through this’ – and we completely agree. All at Now wish Ferne a happy and healthy pregnancy!
