This morning at Google I/O 2017, in Mountain View, Qualcomm and Google announced the development of a Daydream standalone VR headset reference design powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 VR platform. This time last year, Google introduced Daydream, a VR platform for Android devices that was built right into Android Nougat and supported by Google’s own viewer hardware, the Daydream View.
