Edoardo Pietrogrande is the man behind the aka P41; well known for his projects with Francesco Tristano, P41 is back with 4 tracks, a journey into spatial synthesizers and polymetric grooves. His last release was a stunning single “low tide” on vinyl ltd with a masterpiece rmx by the Roman mentor Donato Dozzy. Slave of time is a floor filler with a reminiscence of Western soundtrack played on acid bassline and epic pads, “Synth Eastwood” was the original name of the project. Anno Luce is the key to understand this LP, a massive synth stands alone and leaves all the time to the crowd to forget that we’re still on the dance floor. the final arpeggio reminds the 90’s italian rave mood, close to P41 personal experience. The planck number brings back again the listener to 2017, with sophisticated rhythmic and texture sound design driven by a fat dub bass for the whole track.
