Release Date: 3rd June 2020 — Anjunadeep welcomes season DJ and producer Jon Gurd to the label with the first single ‘Together’ off of his forthcoming album ‘Lion’. A reputed selector and producer, Jon came through the UK underground in the early 2000’s as a resident DJ at the legendary slinky in Bournemouth. During his decorated career, Jon has collaborated with artists including Alan Fitzpatrick and Reset Robot and gained support from the likes of Adam Beyer, Sasha, Loco Dice and many more. In lead single ‘Together’, a track which he describes as the “lynchpin of the whole album”, Jon demonstrates his intricate production techniques and eclectic musical influences. Percussive breakbeats meet with a bold vocal loop in a powerful track that explores the themes of “unity and being part of something bigger than ourselves”.
