This is the secret tip that plugin companies don't want you to know. All you need on your master is a Limiter. Maybe a gentle compressor just before it. Any other adjustment should be done on the individual channels. You have way more control and quality by adjusting the individual channels rather than trying to use master bus processing like multiband, made side, imaging and even eq. Complex mastering plugins are for mastering engineers that are mastering a stereo file from a client. If you master your own music then you have all your individual channels. The magic is in the mixdown, not the master.
