Coventry’s match winner against Leicester, Callum O’Hare, becomes a free agent in the summer, and boss Mark Robins insists the club want to keep him.
After their win against the league leaders, Robins told BBC CWR: “We can only do so much but we will 100% want to keep him.”
On O’Hare’s role in the squad he said: “Looking at characteristics of people in teams, he epitomises what we want to do. He is brave, goes after things, a good communicator, an effervescent character and has added goalscoring to it.
“He deserves all the plaudits he gets.”
The win extends Coventry’s unbeaten run to nine games, and Robins thinks this result was extra special.
“I thought we were brilliant. It was one of the best performances we’ve had this season, in many seasons.”
