Argentinian DJs and producers Last Men On Earth bring their left-of-centre sound to a trio of seductive new club tracks.

Last Men On Earth is the brainchild of Eugenio Pérez and Sebastián Passo. Drawing inspiration from their background in experimental rock, the duo infuse their music with various inspirations from outside dance music and fuse organic rhythms and electric melodies that reflect their passion for pushing boundaries. It has come on the likes of Applied Magic and Tau before now and now makes for a superb debut on the mighty Get Physical Music.

This EP opens with the title track, a dark, heavy roller with techno moods but house grooves. Snatched vocals burst out of the mix next to prickly percussion, and menacing spoken words make for something shadowy and alluring. 'SEVEN' then slows to a weighty crawl with percolating bass and raw, caustic percussive textures infusing the rhythm with life. Celestial synths bring a different energy to the breakdown before the grooves motor on once more. 'LMOE Presents' closes with a third different sound – stripped back and rumbling drum funk with warped synth smears that will lead to a slow but complete eruption on the 'floor.
