Learn how to make a basic track sketch in the style of Overmono's floor-filler Blow Out. For this video, we’ve given our contributor Leftie free rein of Future Music and MusicRadar's massive archive of free samples, and challenged him to make a track in under an hour. This time we're taking inspiration from UK production duo Overmono.

We'll walk you through the process of sketching out a basic track in under an hour, keeping things simple so beginners and intermediate producers alike can follow along. We're using Ableton Live, but we've stuck to simple processors and free plugins, to make things easy to follow in any DAW.
