L’accordo prevede lo scambio reciproco dei diritti di licenza sulle rispettive proprietà intellettuali e consente a Microsoft di presentarsi agli utenti, con la sua offerta, su molteplici dispositivi Android a marchio Lenovo e Motorola.
Iniziative simili sono state promosse, in passato, con Samsung, LG, Xiaomi, Sony, Dell e Asus.
Lenovo, al momento, non ha ancora rivelato su quali dispositivi Android verranno preinstallate le applicazioni di casa Microsoft.
