Booty tracks, gay porn jack or simply killer techno – both the reactions to the rough-and-ready style of Dingo Tush (vocals) and The Uberdog (production) as well as the Barker & Baumecker remix of „Fist Fuck“ ensured a huge wave of attention. With this lascivious aura, it is only logical that BPitch Control will showcase Furfriend’s second EP „Walk With It“.From the very first moment, „Walk With It“ spreads this pulsatile analog charm that constitute the trademark sound of Furfriend. While Dingo Tush comforts us with courage and self-confidence by his determined vocals, the dominant kick drum alongside the rolling bass gather a descent pace. The instrumental version emphasizes in an uncompromising manner that Furfriend are not only into martial claps and a metallic tête-à-tête, even the acappella version displays their love for Chicago’s oldschool cuts from Dance Mania and Trax Records. The soul of the 90s can also be found on the second monster „Love Trunk“ – the springy bass in combination with deep rumbling in the background will not leave any hip unmoved. Just when the chirping synths win the sovereignty with a mating dance over Furfriend’s spleen of electrifying percussion, the contemporary retro aesthetic beams in its full glory. Nice & dirty!
