Katie Price speaks out in stepdad’s rape trial: ‘He’s always been so loving and fun’

The glamour model has defended Paul Price as he faces allegations he raped a woman

Katie Price has issued her support to her stepdad as he goes on trial for rape.

The glamour model is standing by Paul Price, who has been accused of carrying out the attack on a female friend during a night out with pals in March 2015.

Katie, 38, chose not to attend his week-long trial at Chichester Crown Court to avoid attracting media attention but spoke out in a statement which was read out in court in which she stressed how Paul had been an ideal father figure to her.

‘My dad has always been so loving and such a fun person to be around,’ the mum-of-five said.

‘Although he is not my biological dad he took me and my brother on at a young age and I know that he is there for me for everything.

‘He is amazing with his grandchildren.’

Katie’s mum Amy married Paul in 1988, having split from Katie’s biological dad Ray Infield when the reality star was just 4. He’s the father of Katie’s younger sister Sophie.

Paul, 53, has denied the two charges of rape he’s standing trial for, having been accused of carrying out the attack on a married woman in Worthing last March.

The group were travelling in a taxi in the early hours of the morning following a meal together before the woman stopped the vehicle to get out as she felt unwell.

Paul also got out and the woman alleges that he then first raped her on the beach.

She claims that a second attack happened after they’d hailed a taxi and got out again. The woman claims that Paul grabbed her by the neck and led her to a wooded area where the alleged rape took place.

Paul denies the claims and say that the woman consented on both occasions. He’a also said that they were unable to have intercourse each time as he couldn’t get an erection.

He has also denied claims of being a ‘sex addict’ during cross examination in court.

Paul’s daughter Sophie, 27, has joined sister Kate in defending Paul and sobbed when she praised him from the witness box.

‘I love my dad,’ she explained, calling him a ‘fun’ and ‘nice’ person.

Paul is also being supported by wife Amy at the trial as it continues at Chichester Crown Court.

The couple, who have only been together since February this year, are ready to start a family and even have the nursery ready according to our insider.

Cheryl recently sent fans into a frenzy when she stepped out on the red carpet with Liam and a charity event and showed off her blooming pregnancy bump.

Prior to this Cheryl’s mum Joan has also been spotted in Newcastle’s Mothercare branch buying pregnancy pillows and a bump wedge, which expecting mum’s use to help them sleep at night.

‘Cheryl’s never been more determined to have a baby. It’s like it’s the only thing in the world that matters to her. She’s never been so focused on something,’ reveals our source. ‘She’s always been very anxious about being able to conceive and sees this as her opportunity to have the baby she’s always wanted. She’s been prepping every element of her life to give this her best shot – and Liam’s really excited about it.’

‘Cheryl has a stash of pregnancy and motherhood books she’s always reading. She wants to be completely mentally prepared so she can be the best parent.’

Mariah Carey: „Schreckliche“ Diät mit Lachs und Kapern?

Diva Mariah Carey (46) hat bekanntermaßen so einige besondere Seiten an sich. Und so besonders wie die Dame selbst ist offenbar auch ihre Diät, die besteht nämlich aus „norwegischem Lachs und Kapern jeden Tag.“

Das verriet die Ex-Verlobte von Milliardär James Packer (49) gegenüber ‚E! News’. Aber „natürlich“ nicht, ohne noch einmal der Moderatorin zu verdeutlichen, wie sehr sie darunter leide: „Es ist das Schlimmste. Es ist wirklich hart. Ich versuche es….meine Diät. Du würdest es hassen.“ Und sie ergänzte etwas unzusammenhängend: „Ich meine es tatsächlich ernst. Aber, nein, ich esse – ich versuche mich an die Proteine zu halten und blah blah blah. Es ist das Schlimmste.“

Bis vor Kurzem hatte sich die Ex-Gattin von Moderator und Rapper Nick Cannon (36) noch zum Ziel gesetzt, für ihre geplante Hochzeit mit James Packer Gewicht zu verlieren. Letzten Monat wurde aber bekannt, dass sich die fünffache Grammy-Gewinnerin von ihm getrennt hat. Die Zwei waren seit Juni 2015 ein Paar, wobei der australische Milliardär im Januar mit einem 35-Karat-Ring im Wert von sieben Millionen Dollar um ihre Hand anhielt. Momentan möchte die Dame mit „Lachs und Kapern“ bis zur Fortsetzung ihrer Las-Vegas-Show am 26. April 2017 offensichtlich noch ein paar Pfunde verlieren. Ob ihr das wohl glückt?

Ein wenig scheint die ganz besondere Diät ja schon funktioniert zu haben, wie die schon etwas erschlankte Figur beweist. Und bis zum April bleibt der Diva auch noch ein wenig Zeit, um weiteres Fett zu verlieren. Als nächstes steht für Mariah Carey aber erst einmal die Premiere ihrer TV-Dokumentationsserie ‚Mariah’s World’ an, die am 4. Dezember beim US-Sender ‚E!’ stattfinden wird…(CS)

Lapo Elkann, detenido por fingir su propio secuestro

A Lapo Elkann se le ha ido su última fiesta de las manos. Hasta tal punto que ha pasado unas horas retenido después de fingir su secuestro para pedir un rescate millonario a su familia. Hay que recordar que el ‘angelito’ es nada menos que el heredero del imperio Fiat.

Tal y como publica ‘Il Corriere della Sera’, Lapo llegó a nueva York el pasado jueves y donde contrató los servicios de unas prostitutas que estuvieron junto a él durante los siguientes dos días. Unas jornadas en las que no se privó de nada -incluido alcohol y drogas-.

Cuando se le acabó el saldo, se lo pidió a un acompañante y, para devolvérselo, no se le ocurrió mejor idea que fingir su propio secuestro y pedir a su familia un rescate de algo menos de 9.500 euros. En ese momento se puso en marcha un dispositivo policial…

…que se detuvo cuando se dieron cuenta de que era todo un montaje. Elkann y la prostituta que le acompañaba en ese momento fue detenido, aunque a ella los agentes la dejaron marchar en seguida al darse cuenta de que era todo un plan urdido por el multimillonario.

Ahora le tocará comparecer ante la justicia norteamericana en una vista que se ha fechado para el 25 de enero.
