Lisa Gade reviews the OnePlus 6T Android smartphone, released in late 2018. As ever with OnePlus, you get a high end phone for several hundred dollars less than the flagship phone competition. Pricing starts at $549. The OnePlus 6T has a 6.4” widescreen Optic AMOLED (OLED) display with in-display fingerprint scanner and it runs Android 9.0 Pie with OxygenOS customizations on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with 6GB or 8GB RAM and your choice of 128GB or 256GB storage. The phone has 2 rear cameras with OIS on the main camera and 4K video recording and a 16MP front camera. Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, 2.5 Gorilla Glass 6 and Gigabit LTE are standard. It’s sold by T-Mobile in the US and is also available as an unlocked phone that’s compatible with GSM carriers like AT&T and it has CDMA and is compatible with Verizon.
